Stephanie Metzendorf was honored as our Student of the Month on Tuesday, March 7^th.  Stephanie was accompanied by her parents, Mark & Donna Metzendorf of Mequon. 

 

Stephanie is a senior at Homestead High School, where she is the President of Reading Buddies, a program that pairs high school students with elementary schools to read with younger students.  She is a member of the National Honor Society and SHIFT (Students Helping Impact Foster Teens).  Stephanie is the Captain of the cross country team and volunteers as a Big Sister for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.  She has also volunteered her time at Gathering on the Green, among several other organizations.

 

Stephanie plans to pursue a degree in education.  She has narrowed her college choices to the University of Colorado-Boulder, University of Missouri, and Indiana University and is still finalizing her decision on which school she will attend this fall.
