A Wonderful Evening

Highlights from last week's Changing of the Guard:

40 Rotarians, spouses, family and friends attended a wonderful evening of celebration and excitement at the beautiful River Club of Mequon. President Pam Koch passed the gavel to President Elect Ellen Macfarlane and wished her much success and joy in this upcoming year of leadership for the Thiensville-Mequon Rotary Club. The annual awards ceremony included the following honors:

Family Fun Before the 4th

T-M Rotarians Roasted Corn and Distributed Ice Cream

Saturday, June 25th was a glorious, sunny day with a cool breeze in Thiensville Village Park as our members once again pitched in and assisted Family Fun Before the 4th.

Karle Naggs begins the roasting process by loading up the roaster with tender sweet corn.	Dan Gannon, Robert Jacobs, Sandy Custer, and Herb Hillman distribute free ice cream following the parade.
Mike Stack (former member), Stan Lind, Stan Smith, George Witte, Nancy Witte-Dycus, Herb Hillman and Bill Hart hard at work selling roasted corn.	President Pam Koch and her daughter, Jessica, are hard at work while Van Mobley and friends supervise from the chairs.

Business was brisk during the lunch hour.	Bob Jacobs provides a quality test on the corn during a short break.
Nancy Witte-Dycus cheerfully waits on a customer. T-M Rotary roasts the corn as a service to Family Fun Before the 4th.	Dan Gannon, Bob Jacobs, and Sandy Custer are busy handing out free ice cream to kids of all ages.
