Join us on Tuesday to hear from Joe Kirgues, Co-Founder and Managing Director, gener8tor Madison & Milwaukee,  (photo with his father, Roger Kirgues and Brad Smith, President of Microsoft).  This will be our last meeting at the Ozaukee Country Club for the summer.

Next week there is No Meeting at noon.  Instead we'll see you at the Changing of the Guard at the Howard J. Schroeder American Legion Post #457 at 5:15 PM.

Sandy Custer distributed copies of the Summer Cooking Crews.  We head to Rotary Park on June 27th.

8.Chaired Chamber’s Business and Industry Expo
9.Chaired Board of Freedom Village (retirement)
10.Served on task force planning Mequon Rotary Park
11.Named ‘96 MT Courant’s Newsmaker of the Year
12.Named 1996 MT Chamber’s Citizen of the Year
13.Served on Crossroads Presbyterian Church Board
14.Active in Ville du Parc’s HOA
15.Served on Economic Development Board
16.Plays a mean game of Pickle Ball
17.Enjoys Tuesday/Thursday Golf at Mee-Kuon
18.Lived in Mequon for close to 40 years
19.Served as Elder & was involved in the $2.7 million capital campaign for Crossroads
 
So whether as successful businessman, Devout Church Elder, Active Civic Leader, or Devoted Husband and Father, Stan Smith is a glowing example of the Rotary International motto, “Service Above Self” and a role model for a Life Well Lived.  Humble as ever, Stan gave the credit to the organizations to which he gave his time and talent.

Mathilde's Graduation 

Mathile and all her host families from this year.  Bob Blazich hosted a reception for the host families on June 11th.  Thank you to all the host families for sharing your lives with our student from Denmark. 

Port Washington State Bank Welcomes Rotarians

PWSB ThiensvillePort Washington State Bank will be hosting a Rotary meeting for the Cedarburg/Grafton Club on the 15th of June (Thursday this week) at noon.  Ron Knaus, Vice-president and Branch Manager, invites everyone from our club to join them for food, fellowship, and a make-up.  There is no charge.

The event will be in a tent in the parking lot behind the bank.
