Weather that originally looked to challenge our efforts offered up a beautiful morning to hike along Green Bay Rd between County Line and Mequon Roads. With our bags and grabbers in hand, we picked up the summer's accumulation of roadside litter.
Thanks to Sandy and his 8 Rotarian Crew consisting of Ellen, Stan, Rob, Tim, Jack, Bruce, Dan and myself, we were able to complete the 2 mile stretch of road in under 2 hours. Some of us met afterwards for coffee at Fiddleheads and continued enjoying the fall colors and watching the ducks on the river with our hot java. All in all, a great morning of fellowship and service.
It's amazing what a group of Rotarians can do. This years comedy night was an amazing pleasure to be a part of. A sold out crowd, a 78 item silent auction, great food, great music, fun entertainment and activities......all because there were a group of Rotarians willing to put in the time, effort and dedication to a goal. I'm so lucky to be part of such a group. Thanks to everyone who contributed in many ways. Everyone in our club had some participation in making this year's event wonderful and successful!
