Ace thought something many pickleballers have thought. “I love everything about pickleball! Well, except the sun, the wind, the rain, the heat, the cold, and the waiting?” That's how the idea for Pickleball Kingdom got started. He loved the sport, especially the spirit of it, but wanted to eliminate the downsides of playing outdoors. Since no ball in any sport is more affected by the wind, it just makes sense to play indoors.
The first Pickleball Kingdom opened to much fanfare in Chandler, Arizona, in May of 2022! It has the outdoor surfaces that everyone knows and loves, but with all the indoor benefits. At the heart of Pickleball Kingdoms are vibrant, welcoming communities. Whether you are brand new to the sport or a pro, you will feel at home in the Kingdom. Pickleball Kingdom was designed so that nothing affects your game, but your game. Pickleball will bring you in to the Kingdom, but our Community and Culture will make you want to stay.
December 16 we will celebrate this festive season with an exclusive performance by our own Heather Madr and Tarah Beyer. We are looking forward to seeing these talented musicians perform. We encourage members to bring guests.

Tuesday, January 6, we welcome back the ladies who created the Happy Place Cooking Space, an accessible teaching kitchen designed for all ages and abilities, in Cedarburg. At Happy Place, everyone has the opportunity to learn at their own pace in a supportive environment with adaptive tools and equipment.
Our Vision: A world where everyone, regardless of age or ability, can explore their full potential and find community.
Our Mission: To foster happiness by sharing the joys of cooking and eating together, teach skills that build independence and inspire creativity, and create an environment of belonging where everyone is included, and where everyone can have a positive experience in the kitchen.
Chef Hadley Shully, daugher of Beth and Scott Shully, of Shully's Cuisine & Events, spoke at a recent TM Rotary meeting and demonstrated something that may baffle many -- pasta making. She amazingly made homemade pasta in the brief time allotted to our speakers.
She promised that the pasta is far tastier than anything that comes in a box and cooks even faster. Maybe it's time to give her simple recipe a try.
The competition is tight. Who will win? Team Jenne or Team Sandy?
We don't know yet. The competition continues to December 9, and the winning team will be announced at our Holiday Party, December 16. All we know now is that the families served by Family Sharing of Ozaukee County will win. At this difficult time when government help has been delayed, the weather is getting colder, and the holidays are upon us, donations are needed more than ever.

Homestead High School Senior was named the TM Rotary Club's first Student of the Month for the 2025-2026 school year. Addison Drumm is a creative and enthusiastic student and volunteer. She leads both the Theater and Latin Clubs, works at a local veterinary clinic, and coordinates volunteers dedicated to protecting our planet.
