October already?!? Where did September go? We have just 10 days before Fall Into Comedy!!
Thank goodness we have an excellent committee that is pulling the final details together. Silent auction items are spilling from my dining room into my living room. That is a good sign! Nancy is busy making amazing fall centerpieces for the tables. I sleep easier knowing Pam and her committee are a well oiled Rotary machine. They cannot do the job alone, so I hope everyone will pitch in to help with set up and clean up on October 13th.
I am looking forward to relaxing with Mark Schiff. As I heard a Rotarian say, "I need some humor in my life."
On another note, all of our committees are up and running. Thank you, everyone, for all you do to make our Rotary club a success. We need each of you contributing your special skills so we can have the best year ever.
Thank you to the Rotarians that have generously donated checks to Polio Plus thus far. We are halfway to our goal! Remember to bring your check made out to The Rotary Foundation, with Polio Plus written on the memo line, to the meeting this week.
