Final Student of the Month Honored

Megan Borland, Director of Vocational Service, presented the final 2015-16 Student of the Month Award to Elizabeth Tucker on May 10th as President Pam Koch looks on. Lizzie was awarded for her commitment to the Service Club of Milwaukee, where she serves as President of the Junior Board.  Lizzie is the Homestead High School Ski Team and Diving Team Captain.  She also devotes her time to a reading program for local elementary schools, she is part of the social responsibility team, Link Crew, Relay 4 Life team captain and a three year Merit Award recipient.  Lizzie will be studying education with a minor in business at the University of Nebraska in the upcoming fall. 

 

The Scholarship Committee will now review all the honorees and determine who will receive the Thiensville-Mequon Rotary Scholarship.  Megan will present the 2016 scholarship to the lucky winner at the Homestead Honor Ceremony.  Best of luck to all the student of the month honorees from this year!
