Friday, December 4th dawned bright and sunny, but with a heavy frost and temperatures in the 30's.  Those conditions did not stop a group of stalwart Rotarians and one guest, Louis Maier, who attacked the buck thorns and trash on the Rotary Riverwalk.  The directive from Director Custer was to arrive wearing gloves and a smile, and  that is exactly what Sandy Custer, Dan Gannon, Karle Naggs, Stan Smith, and one guest, Louis Maier, did on Friday.  They cut away minor buckthornesblew the paths clear, picked up litter, and lopped suckers from the base of box elders.
