Speaker Guidelines
Speaking at Thiensville-Mequon Rotary – 2025
Rotary is the largest humanitarian service network in the world, with 1.2 million members and over 35,000 clubs in more than 200 countries. Our members represent a wide range of backgrounds, professions, religions, races, and ethnicities. Rotary is a non-partisan, non-denominational organization, and we ask our speakers to respect this diversity by refraining from endorsing political candidates, parties, or specific platforms.
We also ask that speakers keep in mind Rotary’s guiding principles, known as the Four-Way Test:
Of the things we think, say or do:
- Is it the truth?
- Is it fair to all concerned?
- Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
- Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Speaker Format:
- Presentations should be approximately 20-25 minutes, including time for questions and answers.
- Please bring a laptop with HDMI capabilities.
- Visuals and demonstrations are encouraged.
- Thiensville-Mequon Rotary does not offer an honorarium. Speakers are thanked at the podium at the conclusion of their talk.
Our Goal for Each Meeting:
- Have fun
- Learn something new
- Leave inspired
