John Rakowski has proudly served as Riveredge Nature Center's Executive Director since 2022. John has over 20 years of non-profit experience including youth development work at Running Rebels Community Organization and the Medical College of Wisconsin. His deep passion for the outdoors was inspired by his grandfather, who introduced him to fishing, foraging, and the importance of conservation. John is committed to fostering a deeper connection between people of all backgrounds and nature through his leadership at Riveredge.
